WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO SERVE ON THE BOARD? I have worked in Dublin since 1996 and in 2001 my family moved to Dublin for the superb School District. I wanted to serve on the School Board because I believe the schools are a community’s greatest asset; I want to maintain the current educational standards and ensure the future integrity of the Dublin City School District. Excellent schools yield exceptional children.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF ABOUT DUBLIN CITY SCHOOLS? I am most proud of the teachers and the school staff; they are truly an exceptional group of people dedicated to ensuring our children receive the finest education possible. Everyday they strive to enable our youth to develop the knowledge, critical thinking, self-esteem, and social skills to thrive as adults.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL AND WHY? My favorite subject in school was science, it fascinated me to see how the world works and I enjoyed performing experiments. My enthusiasm for science led me to become an Electrical Engineer.
