Information about Syntero
Dublin City School partners with Syntero Counseling to provide preventive mental health services to students during the school day. Your student's school counselor works collaboratively with teachers and parents to connect students with Syntero school-based prevention services.
What is School-Based Prevention?
School-Based Prevention is a short-term support that focuses on increasing students’ social-emotional skills intended to prevent or reduce the risk of developing a mental health or substance use disorder.
If you feel your student could benefit from these types of supports please contact your student's school counselor or fill out this form. This information will be sent to the Syntero clinician working in your student’s school and they will review the form with your student’s school counselor. The Syntero clinician will then contact you to discuss the referral and options for support. Please note that Syntero School-Based Prevention Services are being conducted virtually at this time.
