Advanced Science Club
Meeting Times: 1st Friday of the month - before school
First meeting is October 6th
In Dr. Blue's room - 2202 (7th Grade Hallway)
Advanced Science Club gives students a chance to learn and share about advanced science topics that they may not cover in classes in a fun, social setting. Students will be responsible for leading discussion topics.

Art Club
Meeting Times: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month until 4:30pm
In Mrs. Cover's art room (1126)
Students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of art materials while creating artwork of their choice. Some of the materials and techniques you will have the opportunity work with are: paint, drawing, wool, yarn, 3D construction, sewing, collage and more.
*Art Club members will pay a fee of $25 to cover the cost of materials.

Baking & Cooking Club
Meeting Times: No scheduled meetings
New this year! The Baking and Cooking Club is open to all ERMS students. We will bake and cook at home. Post pictures and videos of our results. Ask questions of fellow bakers. We can share recipes and tips and tricks. This is a great way to begin learning the basics of baking and cooking!

Battle of the Books
Meeting Times: Thursdays during SOAR (10:07-10:32am)
In the Media Center
Students in grades 6-8 can participate. Teams of 3-6 will be created by the group or the coaches. Compete, trivia style, about a select list of books.
Information on how to join will be shared at the information meeting on Monday, September 18.

Building Club
Meeting Times: Once a month - after school until 4:30pm

Each month, we will have a new task or fun challenge that involves actively building or creating something like circuits, paper airplane design, and more!

Meeting Times: Once a month
A safe place to be kind, make new friends, help peers and be yourself! Come connect with new friends or invite friends you don’t have classes with!!! Club activities include events during SOAR, crafts and activities, field trip, group lunch once a month, games and snacks.

Junior Asian Youth Union
Meeting Times: Once a month - after school (beginning in October)
The Junior Asian Youth Union is a school organization dedicated to fostering cultural awareness, unity, and understanding among young students of Asian heritage. This group provides a platform for students to explore and celebrate the diverse cultures, traditions, and experiences within the Asian community. Through various activities, events, and discussions, the Junior Asian Youth Union aims to promote inclusivity, appreciation of Asian cultures, and cross-cultural dialogue among its members. It serves as a space where students can come together to learn, share, and build meaningful connections while also contributing positively to their school's multicultural environment.

Junior Teen Institute
Meeting Times: Once a month - before school
Dates TBD
A leadership program that focuses on drug-free and bully-free initiatives. Meetings have fun activities - some planned by Jerome students. We host some school wide events like Red Ribbon Week and Pop Tab Collection for the Ronald McDonald House.

Lego Club
Meeting Times: After school - randomly throughout the year
In Mr. Simmons' room - 1204 (6th grade hallway)
In Lego club we will watch lego movies, build lego sets, have lego challenges, Lego Master Guest Speakers and more! The majority of lego building happens at home. Share your creations with the club!

Math Counts
Meeting Times: Tuesdays after school until 4:00pm through February
Starts October 18
MathCounts is a middle school math competition club. In our weekly meetings we practice competition style problems. There is an "All Dublin" Competition between the 5 Dublin Middle Schools in January. Then in March, the top 12 members from Eversole Run compete against other middle schoolers in Franklin County at the Regionals competition for a chance to move on to the State Competition.

Power of the Pen
Grades 7-8
Meeting Times: After school every other week until 4:15pm
In the Media Center
Starts in early October
A creative writing club for 7th and 8th grade students. The Competition team of 12 students, 6 from each grade, will compete against other writers in our area and may move on to our region, then state tournaments. Tournaments are timed events of 3 rounds where writers are given 35 minutes to write about a provided prompt. Club members that do not compete can improve their creative writing skills during our meetings too.
